In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing legacy mainframe data flows, documenting source-to-target mappings, and supporting the migration of data pipelines to cloud-based platforms.The key responsibilities include:Analyzing mainframe JCL jobs, COBOL programs, and batch workflows to extract transformation logic.Creating and maintaining source-to-target data mapping (STTM) documents.Defining data transformation, aggregation, and derivation rules.Partnering with Engineers to validate data pipelines and performance.Collaborating with Reporting Specialists to ensure data supports business intelligence requirements.Conducting data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks between legacy and modern platforms.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in data analysis, data mapping, and lineage documentation. Strong understanding of mainframe data ecosystems, SQL, ETL tools, and ability to analyze JCL and batch processing logic are must-haves.
