Software Development Engineer in Test III Position OverviewThis position offers a unique opportunity to work with our cutting-edge technology, driving innovation and excellence in software development.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) III to join our team. As an SDET III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Your expertise will ensure high-quality software releases, identifying bottlenecks and vulnerabilities through performance and security testing.You will also collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to enhance software reliability, while mentoring junior SDETs and promoting best testing practices across teams.This role requires strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, along with expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and Agile methodologies is highly valued.Key Responsibilities:Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement test strategies ensuring high-quality software releases.Code Quality & CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.Performance & Security Testing: Implement performance, load, and security testing strategies to identify bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve them.Mentorship & Best Practices: Mentor junior SDETs, promote best testing practices, and drive quality initiatives across teams.Tooling & Innovation: Evaluate and introduce new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to enhance software reliability.Required Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or k6.Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, TDD, and BDD.Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with security testing concepts (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing).Preferred Qualifications:Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases.Exposure to AI/ML testing or blockchain testing is a plus.ISTQB or other relevant certifications.Benefits:Remote First PolicyComprehensive Insurance PolicyA chance to have a huge impact early in your career
