Your role in a nutshell:

  • The Partner Security Engineer will support the Check Point Partner ecosystem through enablement, opportunity engagement and real-time product/solution assistance.
  • In this role, you will drive participation of our partner programs to build capability and capacity on various solution areas in order to provide end to end technical support to our customers, including implementation and Day 2 support.
  • Your responsibilities will also include building customized presentations and demonstrations; assisting partners to present the right solutions to their customers, product feature/benefit discussions; assisting with solution designs, proposal development and responses; driving partner program participation through technical certifications and enabling partners on our solutions, helping them with Demos & POCs
  • You will also help the Partner tech resources liaise with Check Point’s resources from time to time, to provide the requisite assistance be it from the presales team, TAC team or even the products team. You will act as the liaison point between the Partner Technical community and Check Point.

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive Partner Program participation through completion of technical certifications
  • Be up-to-date on the current knowledge of Check Point solutions and be able to describe key features and benefits of each as they relate to business challenges
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to partners, be it for POCs, technical presentations to customers, implementation or Day 2 support. Liaise them with various resources from Check Point, as the situation demands
  • Provide evaluation, proof-of-concept assistance, solution design, etc. to partners, as per customer requirements. Help Partners upsell and cross-sell, in our existing Install Base.
  • Participate in SE discussion forums. Act as a presenter in public forums, partner sessions, enablement drives and customer workshops led by partners.
  • Establish a positive working relationships – internal and external. Liaise closely with the Check Point Partner team, core sales and presales resources, specialist teams, TAC & R&D teams from time to time, to provide immediate assistance to partners as and when required.
  • Manage a rapport with the top 15 Partner Tech leaders across different partner organizations and work with them to build / manage their tech resource pool

Desired Background:

  • 5 to 8 years of presales experience, preferably with a substantial exposure in the cyber security domain of which, at least 3+ years of experience in working with / for partner organizations & managing partner relationships from a technology standpoint.
  • Exposure to Network Security technologies is a must, whereas knowledge of Cloud Security and/or End Point Security is an added advantage
  • Self-motivated and go-getter attitude to assist in closing a deal along with the partners and help them with their revenue objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communications, presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with an outgoing personality, comfortable working both independently and as a team.
  • Confidence and willingness to stretch beyond current skills and capabilities. Ability to quickly grasp and learn new technologies
