Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in journalism, with excellent storytelling and interviewing skills. They should be able to create engaging content for various formats, including reports, blogs, social media posts, and email newsletters.Responsibilities include:Attending and reporting on university events, workshops, seminars, and student activitiesWriting timely and engaging event stories and press releasesCreating original blogs highlighting faculty, students, programs, and achievementsDeveloping crisp and compelling content for the website, brochures, and academic pagesCollaborating with the design and video teams for social media content creationDrafting captions, reels copy, and campaign text for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and FacebookThe selected individual will work closely with departments, faculty, and students to gather inputs and quotes. A keen eye for detail is essential to ensure that all content is accurate, humanized, and aligned with the brand voice.Desirable Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a related field. One to two years of writing experience is preferred, along with an excellent command of spoken and written English.A strong ability to write for diverse formats, as well as excellent storytelling, interviewing, and content structuring skills are required.
