We are looking for a skilled Research Scientist specializing in Embedded Systems with a focus on IoT technologies. This role combines advanced system design, firmware development, and IoT integration to deliver innovative and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge with a hands-on approach to system design and development.



Responsibilities


Embedded System Design:

  • Architect, design, develop, and optimize embedded systems, focusing on performance, low power, and real-time constraints.
  • Write efficient firmware for microcontrollers, processors, and SoCs.

IoT Integration:

  • Design IoT-enabled devices with seamless cloud and edge connectivity.
  • Implement communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, BLE, LoRa) and optimize data flows.

Prototyping and Testing:

  • Build and test prototypes, including PCB design and hardware debugging.
  • Validate and optimize system performance under real-world conditions.

Collaboration:

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to defining product requirements.

Research and Innovation:

  • Develop detailed research or business proposals for funding and collaborative opportunities.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in embedded systems and IoT.
  • Publish research and contribute to patents.



Qualifications

  • PhD in Embedded Systems, Electronics, or related fields.
  • Expertise in microcontroller platforms (ARM, STM32, ESP32) and real-time firmware development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with knowledge of RTOS.
  • Experience in hardware debugging, PCB design, and IoT communication protocols.


Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with cloud IoT platforms and edge computing.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML in embedded systems and IoT security.
