The role involves maintaining accurate employee data, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing assistance across HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, documentation, and employee relations.The candidate must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Spine Payroll, strong knowledge of payroll compliance, and the ability to work independently with accuracy and confidentiality.Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management (Spine Payroll)Process monthly payroll accurately using Spine HRMS/Spine Payroll.Maintain employee master data, salary structures, and statutory details in Spine.Validate attendance, leaves, overtime, and shift records before payroll processing.Prepare salary sheets, payslips, and payroll MIS reports.Manage Full & Final settlements, arrears, and reimbursements.Ensure accurate deductions of PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other statutory components.Statutory ComplianceEnsure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory acts.Prepare and file all statutory returns and challans on time.Maintain statutory registers and documentation for audits.Attendance & Leave AdministrationMonitor daily attendance, shift rosters, late marks, absenteeism.Manage leave applications, approvals, and balance updates in Spine.Coordinate with departments to resolve attendance discrepancies.HR Operations & DocumentationManage onboarding, induction, and employee documentation.Maintain digital and physical HR records and personnel files.Issue HR letters like appointment, confirmations, warnings, increment letters, etc.Support HR audits and ensure proper record-keeping.Recruitment SupportActively take care of talent acquisitionCoordinate recruitment activities: job posting, screening, scheduling interviews.Assist in joining formalities and orientation of new employees.Employee Relations & CommunicationHandle employee queries related to payroll, leaves, HR policies, etc.Support grievance handling and escalate issues when required.Assist in employee engagement activities and HR initiatives.MIS & ReportingPrepare HR and payroll reports for management review.Maintain monthly dashboards (attendance, headcount, salary variance, etc.).Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality at all times.Qualifications:Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.MBA/PGDM in HR preferred (not mandatory).ExperienceMinimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Spine Payroll software (mandatory).2–4 years of overall experience in HR, payroll, or HR operations (preferred).Experience in statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity) is an added advantage.Technical SkillsProficiency in Spine HRMS / Spine Payroll.Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting).Understanding of HRMS systems, attendance machines, and HR documentation.HR Knowledge & CompetenciesGood knowledge of payroll processes, salary structure, and statutory deductions.Understanding of HR policies, onboarding, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Ability to handle employee queries professionally and resolve issues.What's in it for you?Career AdvancementOpportunities for growth and skill development in a fast-evolving organization.Performance RecognitionBe recognized and rewarded for your achievements through structured appreciation programs.Purpose-Driven WorkContribute to a company that values integrity, customer satisfaction, and long-term relationships.About YouTo be successful in this role:You are a detail-oriented and reliable HR professional who enjoys working with numbers, employee data, and payroll systems.
