Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in modern Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.The selected individual will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, build and consume RESTful APIs with proper versioning, validation, and exception handling, and develop microservices-based architectures with secure inter-service communication.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper versioning, validation, and exception handling.Develop microservices-based architectures with secure inter-service communication.Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize for performance.Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical SkillsJava & Core ProgrammingStrong expertise in Java 8/11/17.Hands-on with Streams API, Lambdas, Functional Interfaces, Optional, CompletableFuture, Collections, sorting, Comparable vs Comparator, and Experience with modern Java syntax (Java 17 is a plus).Spring & MicroservicesSpring Boot (REST Controllers, Services, Configurations), Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Transaction Management, Spring Data JPA / Hibernate, API versioning, request/response validation, global exception handling, Multi-datasource configuration using Qualifiers and custom configurations, CORS configuration and security filter chains, Authentication & Authorization using Spring Security.API IntegrationExperience with Feign Client and understanding its advantages over RestTemplate, Secure API integrations using certificates, gateways, and proxies, WebFlux exposure is a plus.DatabasesStrong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Neptune Graph DB (preferred), Data modeling, relationship design, and performance tuning.Cloud TechnologiesAWS (Strong Advantage): Lambda, Edge Lambda, EC2, Load Balancer, Route 53, S3 (public vs private buckets), EKS, Docker, DynamoDB, Neptune, Basic awareness of SageMaker.Build, CI/CD & DeploymentMaven / Gradle, Jenkins pipelines and UAT deployments, Environment-based application configuration.,
