Job Title:Product AnalystLocation:BangaloreAbout Us:Sports for Life (SFL) is on a mission to revolutionize grassroots sports in India through technology, data, and innovation. We partner with leading sports academies to digitize operations, enhance player experiences, and drive business performance using analytics and insights.Position Overview:We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our growing product and analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating actionable insights from our app and website data, helping shape product strategy, improve user experience, and drive business growth.This role involves working closely with product, tech, and business teams to translate data into decisions that enhance user engagement, retention, and overall platform performance.Key Responsibilities:Data Collection and Management: Gather, clean, and maintain structured datasets from multiple sources including app, website, CRM, and backend systems.Event Tracking: Identify what key events and user actions need to be tracked across the app and website; collaborate with the tech and product teams to ensure proper tagging and adherence to analytics best practices (GA4, Firebase, WebEngage).Analytics & Insights: Analyze user journeys, engagement funnels, and behavioral patterns to generate actionable insights for improving conversion, retention, and overall experience.Reporting & Visualization: Build automated dashboards and detailed performance reports that communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.KPI Monitoring: Track and evaluate key product metrics (DAU/MAU, session time, retention, conversion, drop-offs, etc.) to identify trends and areas for improvement.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Strategy, and Marketing teams to provide data-driven recommendations that inform product decisions and growth strategies.Experimentation & Optimization: Support A/B testing, measure feature performance, and recommend optimization based on outcomes.Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain high standards of data accuracy and ensure compliance with privacy, governance, and data security policies.Key Qualifications:3+ years of experience in product or data analytics, preferably in a consumer app or tech startup environment.Strong understanding of event tracking frameworks and best practices for defining, naming, and implementing key analytics events.Hands-on experience with WebEngage, GA4, Firebase, or similar analytics platforms.Proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).Strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights.Excellent communication skills to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards is a plus.Perks and Benefits:Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.Opportunity to build and scale the analytics foundation for a rapidly growing sports-tech platform.Collaborative and learning-driven environment.Flexible working setup with exposure to high-impact product initiatives.Sports For Life is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to conduct an objective recruitment process based on the requirements and merit of the candidates.
