Job Title: Head of Product Engineering / CTO – ERP

Years of Experience: 18 + years

Location: Bangalore / Chennai (Who can relocate or travel to chennai)

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Product Engineering with a strong foundation in Enterprise systems and a proven track record in leading SaaS transformations. This leader will guide our engineering team in evolving the ERP product to create a robust and scalable SaaS solution. The ideal candidate will be highly technical and possess experience in transforming ERP or similar enterprise products from on-premises to the cloud and be a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge.

What will you do?

Drive the continued evolution of our ERP product to a SaaS model, focusing on cloud-native architecture, multi-tenancy, and high availability.

Define the technical vision and architectural roadmap for our ERP SaaS product, leveraging advanced technology stacks to create a reliable, scalable platform.

Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring timely, high-quality releases that meet cloud performance

standards and customer expectations.

Work closely with product management, and customer success teams to align ERP functionality with customer needs and market demands.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative

culture.

Drive DevOps practices and establish CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient, automated, and high-quality

SaaS releases.

Use customer insights to prioritize and implement ERP product enhancements, continuously improving user experience, functionality, and platform reliability.

What skills required?

18+ years in software engineering or product development for enterprise applications, with 8+ years in a senior leadership role managing SaaS transitions.

Strong experience with enterprise products and familiarity with ERP systems, modules, workflows, and business processes (preferred).

Proven expertise in advanced tech stacks along with experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Strong in microservices architecture, UI development, and best practices in SaaS security, compliance, and scalability.

Hands-on, if need be, and experience in leading the transformation of ERP or similar enterprise solutions from on-premises to cloud-native SaaS.

Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles, including CI/CD, release automation, and monitoring.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Strategic leader with a customer-centric approach, adept at navigating complex technical challenges in ERP and enterprise software.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong mentor and team player, passionate about developing engineering talent and fostering a collaborative environment.

Visionary leader with the adaptability to drive technology transformations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
