Backend Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team in developing high-performance application functionality using Java 21 microservices with Spring Boot 3.x. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cloud Persistence using Google Cloud Firestore or other NoSQL databases, and experience integrating Third-Party APIs like Firebase Admin SDK for authentication/security and Stripe Java SDK for identity verification.Key Responsibilities:Develop scalable APIs with Spring Boot 3.x for mobile clients.Implement robust security features for API endpoints and handle sensitive data/webhook signatures securely.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based systems.Maintain Security Posture by implementing secure coding practices and adhering to industry standards.Requirements:Backend Expertise in Java 21+ with experience developing scalable APIs with Spring Boot 3.x.Cloud Persistence experience with Google Cloud Firestore or other NoSQL databases.API Integration & Security experience with Firebase Authentication and/or complex payment/identity platforms like Stripe.Testing & CI/CD experience with unit testing frameworks and continuous integration tools.Strong grasp of software design patterns and code quality standards.Preferred Skills:Kotlin DSL/Gradle.Testcontainers.Microservice Architecture.Advanced security features.
