Maritime Safety Coordinator

Offshore LiaisonThe Offshore Liaison ensures that the Safety Management System is effectively implemented, maintained and continuously improved in accordance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.Main Responsibilities:Evaluate compliance with ISM Code requirements on board managed vessels.Review and update the SMS to align with new regulations, industry best practices and company policies.Conduct regular ship visits and internal audits to verify adherence to ISM Code guidelines.This role requires liaison with multiple stakeholders to maintain safe operations at sea and ashore. The Offshore Liaison must be available 24/7 for emergency response as part of a broader safety framework.Key qualifications include knowledge of ISM Code requirements, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Familiarity with industry best practices and international regulations is also desirable.This position demands strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
