Platform Engineer Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop Data Processing Services: Create scalable and efficient data processing solutions using Java and Big Data technologies.Build and Maintain Microservices: Develop and maintain robust microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.Deploy and Manage Workloads: Deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with platform and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance.Implement Best Practices: Implement cloud-native and CI/CD best practices to streamline delivery and operations.Required Skills and Qualifications:Java Expertise: Strong expertise in Java and SpringBoot for backend and data-intensive applications.Big Data Experience: Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.).Kubernetes Knowledge: Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.Benefits:Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Progressive Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Distributed Engineering Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.
