DescriptionField Application Engineer - India NorthThe Field Application Engineer will be responsible for Application support in India – North territory and will be based out of New Delhi.Provide application and design support based on end application in terms of paper designs / building and testing of boards using Power Integrations' productsRegularly visiting customers independently or with the assigned Sales in chargeProvide PI direct support to Key customers defined by Field salesIndependent handling of accounts for technical supportUpdate customer with latest production information and support customer with demo boards along with engineering reportTest and analyse competition solution and help sales define PI value and WIN designsSupport customer projects in close co-operation with US Application and Europe Feld Application EngineerContribute design ideas with engineering report for FAE date baseCo-ordinate with sales and set priorities for design WIN and fast revenue growthReview weekly or bi-weekly progress of designEstablishes design WIN objectives by creating a plan in support of regional objectivesConduct periodical training to distributor FAE team, workshops / seminars (In-house & Public)Travel required 40%  Requirements:Should have strong fundamental SMPS knowledge and its various topologiesStrong Knowledge and experience in AC/DC and DC/DC SMPS design, testing and analysisShould possess knowledge in designing magnetic components including transformers, Common Mode chokes / Inductors etc.Able to debug designs and recommend changesStrong knowledge on design / simulation toolsAble to do accurate BOM level analysisAble to build good working relationships with customer, distributors team and colleagues Contribute effectively to Sales strategiesStrong communication skill, both verbal and in writing a mustPresentation Skill essential  Qualification and Experience: Minimum of 6 -8 Years of experience in design and development of SMPS Master's Degree in electronics with 6 - 8 years of experience OR  Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 to 8 years of experience
