Job Description -
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Engineer to join our data team to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
This role requires a candidate who is highly skilled in data warehousing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data engineering, and data analysis, with specific hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric having good knowledge and understanding in Apache spark.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric based on business requirements.
• ETL Development: Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Microsoft Fabric to efficiently process and load data from multiple sources.
• Data Warehousing: Design, manage, and optimize data warehouse structures to support reporting and analytics.
• Data Engineering: Build and maintain data models, transformations, and pipelines for advanced data processing and analysis.
• Data Governance: Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Performance Optimization: Regularly tune and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and queries for performance and efficiency.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Maintain documentation of data processes and perform data quality checks to ensure reliability.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Fabric tool and it’s components for data management, engineering, and analytics.
• Expertise working with Azure cloud environment for developing end to end solution
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, schema design, and optimization.
• Proficient in developing ETL workflows to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
• Skilled in data modelling, transformation, and pipeline development to support efficient data analysis.
• Proficient in Apache spark, SQL, python etc.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices, including data security, quality, Access controls and compliances.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret business requirements and resolve complex data issues.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
