Using a high-powered technology stack that includes Tableau, Snowflake and dbt, the Analytics team designs and develops enterprise-wide reporting, visualization and analytic solutions. This individual will be part of a fast-paced, team-centric environment committed to delivering strategic and operational insight to key business executives and decision makers across the organization.We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, empowering teams across the business to access actionable insights. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong business acumen and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring they are both visually appealing and functionally robustTransform complex data sets into clear, actionable visualizations that effectively communicate insights to a variety of audiences, including senior leadershipDevelop, construct, and support last-mile SQL transformations in dbtTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard functionality and data connectionsCo-manage our Zendesk ticketing system, coordinating the intake and resolution of stakeholder requests—including dashboard updates, ad-hoc reporting, and data query support—to ensure prompt and high-quality service deliveryCollaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all dashboards and reportsContribute reusable components and templates to accelerate dashboard development across teamsMonitor dashboard usage and performance, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimizationSupport the development of self-service analytics capabilities, empowering business users to explore data independentlyEssential Skills & ExperienceExpert in Tableau, with a proven track record of developing interactive dashboards using industry best practicesProven ability to translate business requirements into impactful dashboards and visualizationsHighly proficient in SQL, with the ability to improve queries for optimal dashboard performanceStrong knowledge of data modeling concepts and dimensional modelling techniques (bonus: dbt experience)Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, AWS)Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and development best practicesExcellent communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience managing and resolving incoming support tickets, efficiently prioritizing and addressing user requests to ensure timely issue resolution (bonus: Zendesk experience)Customer-focused, with a passion for user experience and satisfactionAbility to work in agile, iterative environments an manage multiple prioritiesDriven, independent, and meticulousQualifications:5+ years hands-on experience building dashboards in Tableau (advanced calculations, parameters, complex visualizations)3+ years writing efficient and optimized SQL queries1+ years building and maintaining data modelsBachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)#LI-GK1Belonging at MimecastCybersecurity is a community effort.
