Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager for our Ocean Export Procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our ocean export procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the freight forwarding industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for ocean export services.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping lines and other service providers.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of shipments.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ocean export procurement within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
