At Takeoff Digi Labs, we’re a small, dynamic team working on exciting projects that combine innovation with practical solutions. Our newest venture is a major app development project requiring scalable, lightweight solutions that set the stage for long-term growth.

We’re looking for someone passionate about building great products, ready to take ownership of their work, and eager to grow with us. While this role is initially tied to this specific project, there is potential for long-term collaboration as we secure new projects in the pipeline.

What You’ll Do:

Backend Development & Architecture
Design and implement scalable backend solutions, primarily using Firebase.
Write and optimize cloud functions to handle complex backend logic.
Ensure backend systems are robust, efficient, and easy to maintain.

Frontend Development (Lightweight Focus)
Develop lightweight frontend solutions to ensure rapid rollouts of new releases.
Use Flutter for cross-platform app development (iOS and Android).
Leverage no-code tools like Flutterflow for efficient frontend development (preferred).

Bug Identification and Resolution
Proactively find, analyze, and resolve bugs in both backend and frontend systems.

Client Communication & Requirement Gathering
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable development plans.

Ownership & Leadership
Take full ownership of the development process, working closely with the leadership team to drive the project forward.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Skills
Strong expertise in backend development, particularly with Firebase.
Hands-on experience writing cloud functions or similar backend logic.
Proficiency in designing scalable backend architectures.
Solid understanding of mobile app development workflows.
Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Flutter for cross-platform app development.
Familiarity with no-code tools like Flutterflow.

Soft Skills & Cultural Fit
Self-motivated and able to learn independently.
Approaches challenges with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
Strong communication skills to work with clients and team members.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development and app development workflows.
Experience with Firebase and scalable backend architecture is essential.
