Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing and experience with tools like Java, Cypress, and API testing.This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by designing and executing effective test strategies.The successful candidate will collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and identify testing needs.Key responsibilities include:Designing, writing, and executing test cases and scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing.Performing API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar libraries to ensure system integration quality.Collaborating with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Maintaining test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability across the QA lifecycle.Documenting and communicating testing results, defect statuses, and metrics to stakeholders effectively.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on automation testing.Strong hands-on experience in Java for building automated test cases.Proficiency with Cypress for end-to-end web application testing.Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Java-based libraries like RestAssured.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP protocols.Familiarity with database querying (SQL) to validate backend results.Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
