As a SolarWinds Automation Expert, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining our infrastructure management processes.We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in SolarWinds engineering and automation to lead the development of customized monitoring solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement robust PowerShell scripts for automating various tasks, including node onboarding/offboarding, alert suppression, and custom reporting.Administer and maintain the SolarWinds Orion platform, ensuring seamless integration with our global infrastructure.Design and optimize SWQL and SQL queries to support reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience managing SolarWinds environments (Orion Platform 2020.2.6 or newer).3+ years of PowerShell development experience focused on infrastructure and monitoring automation.Strong experience with Orion SDK, SWQL Studio, and SolarWinds API integrations.SQL Server knowledge, including query optimization, performance tuning, and CTEs.Familiarity with network topology mapping, NetPath, and NetFlow analysis.Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to event-driven automation, such as responding to alerts with corrective actions.Past work automating SolarWinds alert tuning, configuration, or compliance reporting.Exposure to ServiceNow integrations, REST APIs, and webhook configuration.Achieve ResultsImplement efficient monitoring strategies to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and deliver tailored solutions.Maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
