Job Title: Principal Back End DeveloperWe are seeking a seasoned technical lead to spearhead our API/socket contracts, SLO/observability gates, and cross-team delivery across Android, iOS, Node, and FastAPI/ML.This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing system requirements, and ensuring solutions align with project objectives and timelines.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of high-scale consumer mobile app APIs/socket contracts.Owning SLO/observability gates for seamless integration between Mobile Apps (iOS/Android) and Backend (Node.js/Socket.IO).Cross-team delivery across Android, iOS, Node, and FastAPI/ML.Required Skills and QualificationsLanguage: Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and intermediate knowledge in Python.Mobile: Deep understanding of iOS/Android networking.Real-Time: Production experience with Socket.IO / WebSockets.Technical RequirementsAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate and resolve complex system challenges.Software Development: Experience with Ship-quality code in Node.js/TypeScript or Python for APIs/workers.Queues and Messaging Systems: Production experience with queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka), Socket.IO/WebSockets.OpenTelemetry Tracing: Experience with OpenTelemetry tracing + Prometheus/Grafana dashboards.About UsWe are a company that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
