Accounting ProfessionalThe ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a full spectrum of accounting activities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and project-level accounting.Main Responsibilities:Manage accounts, prepare financial statements, and maintain accurate records.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.Lead audits, reviews, and examinations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.Implement and maintain effective accounting systems, processes, and controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed finance processes across the organization.Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and technological advancements in accounting and finance.Requirements:Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification with 6+ years of experience in finance and accounts.Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audit, and financial reporting.Experience in ERP implementation, high-volume transaction management, and process optimization.Familiarity with export/import and forex obligations is preferred.Knowledge of employee benefit accounting and documentation is an advantage.Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or service-based organizations, or training from a Big 4 firm is valued.Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite; open to adopting new tools and technologies.Excellent communication skills in English; ability to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders.Ownership mindset, integrity, adaptability, and a solutions-driven approach in a fast-paced environment.
