About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) and Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) for Repair Airworthiness Approval.This position involves working collaboratively with our Airworthiness & Certification - Services team in Bengaluru, along with teams in Toulouse (France) and Mobile (USA), to provide Airworthiness approval of repair solutions for the entire Airbus In-Service fleet using a follow-the-sun approach.As part of this role, you will work on all Airbus civil programs and ATAs, gaining exposure to various structural elements and systems, their operating and loading conditions, design principles, and justification for certification requirements, as well as issues encountered in-service.You will develop multi-skills and acquire a high level of overall aircraft knowledge, expanding your network within the company.Main ResponsibilitiesYou will take responsibility for your technical development and undergo training to achieve your delegation on time, working alongside experienced CVEs/ DAEs.You will provide Airworthiness approval of in-service repair solutions supported by the Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF), under the legal privileges granted by EASA to Airbus in full compliance with Part 21.You will review the repair dossier from Customer Services, appraise the repair design, verify compliance to applicable requirements as Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), if relevant, and approve the Repair as Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) or communicate specific refusal to the customer support.You will verify the correctness of the repair design justification, check possible unsafe conditions, and report airworthiness issues to the Repair approval manager and the relevant Chief Airworthiness Engineer (CAE) to guarantee product safety and maintain our privilege.You will manage the AMOC acceptance dossiers with the CAE and Authorities when required.You will maintain the Airbus brand image by communicating with Customer Services and responding timely to our customers.You will act as airworthiness specialists in a multifunctional team to solve Aircraft on Ground situations (AOG) when required.You will report issues to support the head of repair approval, for training or reporting or improvement on the repair approval.You will ensure the Airworthiness of the repair design defined by Airbus, verify that events relative to airworthiness are reported by In-service occurrence, and report airworthiness issues to a Chief Airworthiness Engineer.
