DFT Engineer RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing DFT strategies to ensure the testability and manufacturability of our complex ASICs and SoCs.Design Flow Collaboration: Work closely with design and verification teams to integrate DFT techniquesDFT Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive DFT strategies, including scan insertion, ATPG, and Boundary Scan (JTAG) insertionTest Analysis and Improvement: Analyze test results, identify potential design issues, and recommend corrective actionsDFT Test Plans and Reports: Develop and maintain DFT test plans and reports, ensuring adherence to industry standardsExpert Guidance: Participate in design reviews and provide expert guidance on DFT feasibility and optimizationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)4-20 years of solid experience in Design for Testability (DFT) for ASICs or SoCsIn-depth knowledge of DFT concepts (scan insertion, ATPG, BSCAN, fault modeling, test coverage analysis)Proven ability to independently implement and optimize DFT strategiesExpertise in industry-standard DFT tools (Synopsys DFT Compiler, TetraMAX, etc.)Experience with scripting languages (Perl, TCL) for automation is a plusAbout this roleThis is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of DFT methodologies and the ability to independently implement and optimize DFT strategies.
