Position Overview:-

We are looking for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our school. The ideal candidate will inspire students, foster creativity, and develop their artistic skills through engaging and educational art lessons. The Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching a wide range of techniques, promoting an appreciation for art history, and nurturing students' artistic expression.


Key Responsibilities: -

Lesson Planning: Create and deliver engaging art lessons that align with the school's curriculum and students' learning objectives.

Art Techniques Instruction: Teach students various techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media using tools like graphite, charcoal, oil, acrylic, and watercolour paints.

Art History Education: Introduce students to significant movements, artists, and cultural influences throughout art history to broaden their understanding and appreciation.

Classroom Preparation: Set up and organize the classroom with necessary materials and equipment for each lesson.

Student Development: Guide students in developing their artistic skills, encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Project Assignment and Grading: Assign, grade, and provide feedback on projects, exams, and homework to assess student progress.

Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment after each class.

Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain art supplies, ensuring that materials are stocked and sourced as needed.

Parent-Teacher Communication: Attend parent-teacher meetings and faculty discussions to provide insight into student progress and artistic development.

Extracurricular Involvement: Support school art exhibitions, workshops, or other events to showcase students' work.


Candidate Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field with a teaching certification.

Experience: Prior experience teaching art in a school setting is highly preferred.

Artistic Skills: Demonstrated excellence in various art techniques and media.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

Classroom Management: Ability to manage group work, supervise students, and foster a creative, inclusive classroom environment.

Planning and Organization: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to effectively plan lessons and manage resources.

Flexibility: A positive, flexible attitude to inspire and support students in their creative journey.
