Job Title:Cost AnalystJob Description:The role of a Cost Analyst involves transitioning business unit-level costing activities to the finance centre of excellence.This includes performing product costing activities within the enterprise resource planning system (SAP) for markets with centralised costing functions.The successful candidate will establish processes for variance analysis and provide business insights, including actionable items to reduce variances compared to established standards.Additionally, they will provide support and guidance for inventory valuation, covering activities such as calculating capitalised variances and stock provisions.Key Responsibilities:Transition of business unit level costing activities to the finance centre of excellenceResponsible for product costing activities performed within the SAP system for the markets that have costing activities centralisedEstablish process for analysis of variances (Price & Factory) and provide business insights including actionable items to reduce variances compared to established standardsProvide support and guidance for inventory valuation. This covers activities including calculation of capitalized variances and stock provisionsRequirements:The ideal candidate will possess a Certified/Qualified Accountant qualification, a University Degree, and a minimum of eight years of post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organisation.They will also have hands-on experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledge.Benefits:Others:
