Job Description:Candidate - Qualified CA / CPAHaving experience in interpreting Technical PronunciationsDoing a risk assessment of the mergers and acquisitions.Having strong US GAAP / IFRS knowledge.WE would be able to source the candidates who are in the M&A wing of Big Four as all of them are having this as a niche offeringWhat You'll DoEvaluate new products, feature updates, growth campaigns, and cross platform initiatives to determine their revenue impacts and document relevant accounting conclusionsPartner across multiple cross-functional functioning as the tip of the spear all revenue accounting related matters on new products, product feature updates, and business development proposalsOwn drafting of accounting policies and mock-ups of journal entries to provide stakeholders an indication of how new proposals will impact the financial statementsParticipate in critical accounting projects, including the implementation of new revenue standard updatesCritically and thoroughly analyze non-recurring transactions by properly identifying the accounting implications of various explicit terms and implied nuances, applying appropriate accounting rules and literature and exercising judgment in subjective areas to draw reasonable and acceptable conclusions.Heavily involved in drafting accounting requirements for Finance Engineering teams, user acceptance testing, and strengthening of change management controlsPerform and enhance existing internal controls on a quarterly and annual basisWork across all products to ensure disclosures adequately reflect material revenue streams of the business as of each reporting periodSupport revenue team on ad-hoc analysis and projectsWhat You'll Need4+ Years of experience working in Big 4 and/or industryCPA or equivalent required (Not required to be active)ASC 606 or IFRS 15 experience required, ASC 808 and 842 experience a plusStrong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalExperience advising and influencing teams outside of the core functions of your role is a plusExperience working with global companies a plusExperience with process improvement and controls a plus
