This is an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization at the forefront of health innovation, offering a dynamic environment for learning and career growth.The Opportunity The Indirect Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in managing Ultrahumans direct tax function, including domestic and international tax compliance, advisory, and planning. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong mix of consulting and industry experience, global exposure, and deep understanding of tax laws, audits, and reporting.Preferred Qualifications3-5 years of relevant experience in indirect tax managementExperience with Indian GST laws and international indirect tax regimesExperience with Indirect tax planning and strategyExperience with Customs and import/export tax managementExperience with Cross-border transaction analysisExperience with Tax process automation and optimizationExperience in managing tax compliance for global operationsResponsibilitiesOversee and manage indirect tax compliance for India and international jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings.Advise on GST, VAT, and other indirect tax matters, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and business units.Monitor changes in indirect tax legislation across relevant countries and assess their impact on business operations.Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to resolve queries, audits, and assessments efficiently.Develop and implement robust processes for indirect tax reporting, documentation, and risk management.Support cross-border transactions by evaluating indirect tax implications and recommending optimal structures.Train and mentor team members on indirect tax regulations, compliance procedures, and best practices.
