Cyber Forensic Investigator

Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist Job Overview:We are seeking skilled professionals to fill a position that involves collecting and analyzing digital evidence, identifying electronic devices, and conducting forensic data analysis in the context of cybercrime investigations.This role entails collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies and investigative teams to support cases related to cybercrime. Key Responsibilities:Assist investigating officers in cybercrime cases by gathering and preserving digital evidence from various sources.Identify and examine electronic devices involved in criminal activity, including those used for communication and data storage.Retrieve and recover data from damaged, encrypted, or hidden sources using industry-standard tools and methodologies.Conduct forensic analysis of digital evidence to identify patterns and connections between individuals and events.Maintain accurate records of findings and prepare detailed reports on digital evidence collected and analyzed.Ensure the integrity of evidence is maintained throughout the investigation process. Requirements:A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber forensics or a related field.Strong understanding of cybercrime methodologies and techniques.Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, X-Ways, Cellebrite, and other industry-standard software.Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field. Preferred Attributes:Certifications in cyber forensics, such as CHFI or equivalent.Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
