Job Title: Data Engineer 2 Location: DLF Cybercity, Porur, Chennai- India Experience: 4 - 8 Years About the Job : We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing data platform team, responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across the organization. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to build end-to-end data pipelines that power decision-making, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong Data engineering background, should be comfortable working with large datasets, implementing data quality checks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and production-grade data solutions. Job Responsibilities: 1. Design and implement scalable, cost-efficient data pipelines that support structured and semi-structured data ingestion (CSV, fixed-width, JSON, etc.), using modern orchestration tools like Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer 2 . Develop robust, reusable data processing workflows leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Big Query , Dataflow , Cloud Storage , DataProc , and Apache Beam — or equivalent AWS/Azure technologies. 3 . Write clean, high-performance code in Python or Java , and develop optimized SQL queries for transformation, aggregation, and reporting needs. 4. Implement and manage end-to-end automated data pipelines , ensuring data integrity, performance, and monitoring across the entire lifecycle. 5. Implemented E2E automated pipeline to ingest the data from different formats (csv, fixed width, Json etc.) 6. Ensure strong data governance, access control , and security configurations , especially in environments like Big Query , with a focus on secure data sharing and compliance. 7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and other team members. Preferred Experience and Qualification: 1. Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science/ Statistics/ Data Science/ Engineering 2. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java , for data pipeline and ETL/ELT development. Strong expertise in SQL , 3 . Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade, scalable, and cost-effective data solutions on at least one major cloud platform ( GCP preferred , AWS or Azure acceptable). 4. Hands-on experience in building Credit risk models for other financial institutions/ Retail/ B2C start-ups/ System Integrator companies/Banking Product is mandatory 5.  Above all, the Great who works effectively in a team and communicate proactively is considered a baseline requirement Who we are looking for: 1.
