MYP Biology

Key responsibilities Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective biology lessons to secondary students, using a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles. Curriculum: Develop and implement curriculum aligned with IB MYP standards. Assessment: Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive feedback. Skills Development: Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a passion for the natural world. Collaboration: Work with other science teachers and departments to enhance curriculum and teaching methods. Communication: Maintain clear and positive communication with students, parents, and the wider school community. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field. Experience: Previous experience teaching MYP and/or DP Science is often preferred. Skills: Strong communication and classroom management skills. Knowledge: A strong understanding of the IB MYP framework and its assessment practices is essential.
