Key responsibilities include periodic maintenance/patching, monitoring database performance, managing backup and recovery using RMAN and Oracle Recovery Manager strategies, defining best practices and automation initiatives, and leading database migration projects.Key ResponsibilitiesRMAN Backup and Recovery Strategies: Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining RMAN backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.Oracle Data Guard: Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery solutions.Performance Tuning and Query Optimization: Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization techniques to improve database efficiency.Database Monitoring and Management: Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management of Oracle databases.Patching, Upgrades, and Database Cloning: Experience with patching, upgrades, and database cloning processes.Unix/Linux System Administration: Solid understanding of Unix/Linux system administration related to Oracle databases.Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in writing complex PL/SQL scripts and shell scripting for automation tasks.Large-Scale Database Environments: Experience in handling large-scale database environments (multi-TB).
