The successful candidate will work closely with a team of experts to design and implement assessments that meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop assessment items that are aligned to state standards and state assessment testsEvaluate content for accuracy, pedagogical relevance, and rigorCollaborate with the Learning Design team to validate items and provide sign-off on each item's content accuracy, relevance, rigor, and standards alignmentAUTHOR ITEMS, INCLUDING SOURCES OR CREATING PASSAGES AS NECESSARY, ENSURING THAT EACH ITEM ALIGNS WITH SPECIFIED ELA STANDARD, MEETS THE RIGOR EXPECTED, ADHERES TO PEDAGOGICAL BEST PRACTICES, AND-aligns with client guidelinesRequirements:To be considered for this role, you will need:Expertise in English Language Arts (ELA)Strong understanding of state standards and state assessment testsAbility to collaborate effectively with a teamExcellent communication and project management skillsAbility to evaluate content for accuracy, relevance, and rigorAbility to develop new content that meets client guidelines
