Transforming the Construction Industry with Data ScienceAt our technology-driven construction company, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team of data experts. This individual will play a key role in driving innovation and transforming the construction industry through cutting-edge data science solutions.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business use cases and develop scalable technical solutions.This is an exceptional opportunity to work on various domains of construction, including scheduling, planning, supply chain management, safety, quality control, site management, financials, and virtual design construction. The successful candidate will gain experience working with computer vision, predictive models, generative AI, and large language models.Key Responsibilities:Develop strategic data science solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and develop predictive models using traditional data science methods and generative AI.Apply machine learning algorithms to improve key processes such as project execution, safety, and risk assessment.Design, lead, and own the development of predictive models from hypothesis generation to deployment and monitoring.Build, validate, and optimize machine learning and statistical models using best-in-class techniques.Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data needs and develop solutions.Stay current with advancements in data science and machine learning to leverage organizational data effectively.Use statistical techniques to detect anomalies and optimize operational workflows.Drive data-driven decision-making by collaborating with product managers and business leaders.Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.8-10 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions.Experience working in dynamic environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.Experience working with construction-related data or similar industries is a plus.
