TEKsystems is looking for enthusiasts Azure Data Engineer coming from a hardcore Python background. We are seeking a detail-oriented Azure Data Engineer with strong Python programming skills and working knowledge of PySpark to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity and accuracy while utilizing Excel and PowerPoint for report creation and validation. A solid understanding of business rules and their application in analytics is essential to drive insights that support our strategic objectives. Role: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift: 9am to 6pm

Experience: 6 years + relevant

This role is ideal for a data engineering professional with 6-9 years of experience in Azure data technologies, who is passionate about building robust data pipelines and supporting advanced analytics. If you have advanced-level certification in Azure Data Engineering, strong proficiency in Python and data transformation, and are eager to work on cutting-edge Azure solutions, this is the opportunity for you


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts on Azure.
  • Hands on experience with Python and PySpark and working knowledge with Azure Databricks.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or other data warehousing solutions.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other services.
  • Familiarity with tools and languages used for data transformation, such as SQL, Python, or Spark.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
  • Excellent understanding of core Azure services like Azure Storage, Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pools, Azure Data Lake, PowerBI, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Hands on experience in performance tuning of sources, targets, mappings and sessions.
  • Ability to identify critical system health issue and flag them for discussion and resolution.
  • Constantly questioning due to fluid processes and complexity of environment.
