In this role, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of Yaper’s platform. You will work on software development tasks, troubleshoot issues, write and test code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal user experiences. This position requires hands-on involvement in creating responsive and efficient applications that align with our mission to enhance financial literacy and independence.Role OverviewWe’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to build and scale our next-gen fintech and commerce systems. You’ll work directly with our founding and product teams to design, develop, and deploy features that impact thousands of users.Your ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend.Develop dynamic and responsive UIs using React Native (Expo) and JavaScript/CSS.Architect scalable APIs using Ruby on Rails.Ensure system stability, reliability, and scalability.Integrate third-party services (Meta, Google Analytics, WebEngage, Branch, Bedrock, etc.).Use AWS, Docker, and Sentry for deployment, monitoring, and debugging.Collaborate with designers, PMs, and stakeholders for high-speed execution.Write clean, modular, testable code — and care about the product as much as the code.Tech StackFrontend: JavaScript, CSS, React Native (Expo) Backend: Ruby, Ruby on Rails Database: PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch Hosting: AWS Tools & Infra: GitHub, Sentry, Docker Integrations: Meta, Google Analytics, WebEngage, Branch, Bedrock, AIWhat We’re Looking For2–3 years of professional Full Stack experience.Strong grasp of Ruby on Rails and React Native.Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and AWS.Problem-solving mindset and attention to performance.Solid understanding of API architecture and CI/CD pipelines.Ownership mentality — we love builders, not executors.Bonus: prior app development or AI integration experience.Personal Skills We ValueCommunication with stakeholdersTime management & reliabilityHustle culture mindset — ship fast, improve fasterAnalytical & problem-solving abilityFocus on stability and scalabilityPerks & BenefitsFlexible working hoursLenient leave policy (no fixed leaves — task delivery matters most)Annual team outingMajor control over projectsCompetitive compensationFast learning environment with real product impact.
