Costing SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Costing Specialist. This role involves conducting comprehensive costing analysis for paper packaging materials and implementing cost control measures to improve operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Conduct costing analysis for paper packaging materials and evaluate cost components including raw materials, labor, overheads, and other relevant expenses.Develop and implement robust costing methodologies for paper packaging products and stay updated on industry trends, pricing strategies, and market benchmarks to ensure competitiveness.Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and other teams to gather accurate cost data and collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes.Prepare and present regular cost reports and analytical insights for management review and provide recommendations based on cost data to support strategic decisions.Conduct variance analysis to identify deviations from standard or budgeted costs, investigate and explain significant cost variances, and propose corrective actions.Identify opportunities to enhance costing processes and improve overall efficiency and implement best practices to strengthen the costing function.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.10-12 years of experience in costing, preferably in the paper packaging industry.Knowledge or certification in Renuka is an added advantage, not a requirement.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in relevant costing tools and software.
