Job Description: Cloud Development: Design, develop, and deploy ABAP Cloud solutions leveraging S/4 ABAP Cloud for WRICEF objects. Clean Core Backend Development: Clean Core Backend Development with latest Syntax Integration: Integrates S/4HANA with external systems via APIs and events (AEM) In-App Extensions: Builds in-app extensions using RAP and BAdIs. Forms and Reports: Works on forms, custom reports, enhancements, and CDS views. Greenfield Implementations: Participate in greenfield implementations, from requirement gathering through to go-live and support. System Support: Provide hands-on support for existing systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance. Collaboration: Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, fostering seamless communication and knowledge sharing. Required Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate will possess: Core ABAP: Proficient in ABAP language, including object-oriented concepts. ABAP Cloud & RAP: Experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including behavior definitions and metadata extensions. Service and API Development: Ability to create and extend ABAP RESTful services and APIs for integration. SAP HANA: Skills in using Core Data Services (CDS views) and other HANA-specific features like AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures). Data Modeling: Understanding of data structures and how to model them, especially with CDS views. Integration: Hands-on experience of integrating with both SAP and non-SAP systems, including RESTful / SOAP APIs/OData. Modern UIs: Familiarity with building OData services for modern UIs like SAP Fiori. Version Control: Proficiency with modern version control systems, especially Git, and SAP's CTS+. Clean-Core Development: Adherence to principles that maintain the stability of SAP's core system and allow for smooth upgrades. ADT tools: Eclipse or equivalent. Compliance: Ensures compliance with SAP's clean core guidelines. Experience: Proven experience as a ABAP Cloud Developer with hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with distributed teams (onshore/offshore). Proficiency: Proficiency in modern development frameworks, tools, syntax and methodologies. Team Player: Must be a strong team player. Customer Focus: Must have a focus on customer satisfaction. Process Improvement: Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements. Minimum Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA application development using RAP model. Preferred QualificationsThe following qualifications are highly desirable: S/4 HANA 2023 On-Prem development experience SAP certification in S/4HANA or BTP Fiori/UI5 development experience Agile delivery methodologies Order to Cash(OTC) or MAKE processes understanding
