Location: Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual designs based on project requirements, ensuring a seamless integration of lighting and interior elements.
- Create mood boards to effectively communicate design vision and aesthetics.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, including lighting and furniture layouts, ensuring all aspects of the design are accounted for.
- Produce comprehensive working drawings, design plans, and schemes using industry-standard Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp).
- Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to ensure designs are contemporary and relevant.
- Conduct site visits to assess spaces and ensure design implementation aligns with client needs.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to refine and finalize design concepts.
Requirements:
- Strong creative ability with an eye for design, detail, and functionality.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), 3ds Max, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate design ideas and project progress.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Interior Design.
- Passion for the lighting industry and a desire to build a career focused on lighting design.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative design team.
