Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor of Law to lead our Center for Justice through Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a proven track record in teaching and academic leadership, and significant contributions to legal research.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Center for Justice through Technology, driving its strategic vision and goals.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate law courses, providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students.
• Conduct advanced legal research, contributing to the body of knowledge in law and technology.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop and oversee research projects, securing funding and managing budgets.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.
• Engage with stakeholders, including industry partners, policymakers, and the wider community, to promote the
Center's mission.
• Supervise and mentor junior faculty members and research staff.
• Participate in departmental and university service activities.

Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in Law or relevant experience both shall count.
• Proven record of excellence in teaching and academic leadership for at least 8 years.
• Significant legal research contributions with publications (at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed journals).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Having a foreign degree is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in integrating technology into legal education and research.
• Experience in securing research funding and managing research projects.
• A global perspective on legal issues, with a network of international contacts.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices.
• Excellent teaching and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct independent research and publish findings.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
