Snowflake Data Engineer SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Snowflake data engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Snowflake scripting, stored procedures, user-defined functions, Common Table expressions, and Window functions.Job Description:Experience in creation of Snowpark Python procedures and user-defined functions is a must.The ability to process Parquet, JSON semi-structured data in Snowflake using parse_json, lateral flatten is required.DBT (Data Build Tool) experience in creating models as per requirements is necessary.Able to implement data sharing, replication, dynamic data masking using masking policies, secure views, row access policies.Experience with tags, streams, tasks, external tables, time travel, clone, storage integration, stages, file format, clustering of larger tables on clustering keys, role-based access control is required.Skilled in identifying and fixing performance issues in Snowflake and DBT.Proficient in working with Visual Studio Code IDE and familiar with git concepts like creation of branches, cloning of repo, creation of pull requests.Knowledge of Apache Airflow to schedule pipelines is necessary.Able to create DB models to load dimensional models consisting of facts, dimensions.Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines, agents, repos is required.Understanding of AWS services S3, Private link, IAM roles, security groups, VPC endpoints is necessary.This role requires 6-8 years of experience and involves working with Snowflake, DBT, Snowpark, and other technologies mentioned above.This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the growth of our organization.
