We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Asst Mgr - Processing Business: Wholesale OperationsPrincipal responsibilitiesProactively maintaining consistent engagements with Relationship Managers (RM) to monitor key operational workflows, flag potential risks and ensure prompt resolutions of outstanding action Items.Take full ownership of client servicing functions, including mandate changes, documentation, and follow-up on service-related escalations.Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to the optimization of mandate workflows through standardization and procedural enhancements.Translate complex operational and regulatory requirements into simple, actionable guidance for RM's and frontline teams.Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement long-term process improvements to drive operational efficiency.Analyze historical error trends to implement preventive actions and reduce repeat issues across global mandate processing.Participate in strategic initiatives aimed at digitization, automation and streamlining of legacy processes to reduce turnaround time and enhance customer/Client impact and service gaps.Interpret and validate client-submitted mandate documents such as Board resolutions, Power of Attorneys (PoA), Articles of Associations (AoA) and List of Directors(LoD).Ensure completeness, authenticity and legal acceptability of all submitted documents.Cross-Verify signatures, Date Validity and authority of signatories based on internal standards.Where documents are incomplete, expired or inconsistent with previous records, initiate formal referral back to the clients with detailed instructions on rectifying deficiencies.Qualifications:In-depth knowledge of Banking Products and Services offered by Commercial Banking (E) & Global Banking & MarketsGood knowledge and experience working on HK MandatesKnowledge & understanding of the products and services offered by Wholesale Client and Account Servicing for GBM and CMB Clients (E)Expertise in working on OBS, IQA and Y41 application.Experience on various Core Banking applications used for Commercial banking segment (E).Experience in working in WCAS process with proficiency in dealing with high profile GBM Clients for UK Market.Ability to be flexible (in terms of schedule / shifts) and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives. (E)Computer literate and ability to work on basic applications like MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook. (E).Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them depending on the criticality of the tasks. Should be able to work within tight time lines and under pressure ( E )Self-motivated and should be able to work under minimal supervision. Pragmatic - sense of urgency is a must ( E )Complaints and objection handling (E)Proven ability to train/coach new/ existing staff (E)Excellent prioritizing, planning and organizing skills along with the ability to build and maintain MI. ( E )Demonstrate highly customer centric approach and strong business acumen. ( E )Good Communication analytical, problem - solving skills. ( E )Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and provide resolutions to end customer within desired timelines. ( E )Knowledge of working in a regulatory environment and understanding regulatory deadlines (D)Positive attitude and ability to manage multiple stakeholders within Onshore and Offshore teams (D)Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external customers (E)Team player and enthusiastic personality with a drive to succeed (E)Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving and changing priorities. Procedures change frequently; selected candidates are expected to implement the changes immediately with minimal training.
