Greetings from TCSWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Functional Safety Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team for various locations.Role: Automotive Functional Safety EngineerLocation: Pune, Bangalore, AhmedabadDesired Exp Range: 8–12 yrsRequired Skills - Automotive Functional Safety ISO26262, HARA, Safety Goal, Technical Safety Concept, FMEA, Software Safety Req.Responsibilities - Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role- Certified Functional safety professional from external agencies- Hands-on experience in implementing Safety requirements/Measures like memory partition, safety coding/modeling practices (Minimum ASIL B required, Preferable ASIL C/D)- Hands-on experience in Dependent failure analysis, Freedom from interference, Critical path in creating safety Architecture- Knowledge on various failure modes, failure concepts(single point , multiple point etc.) of Automotive sensors/actuators- Knowledge on safety standards like ISO26262, SOTIF- Knowledge on various safety analysis technique like FMEA, FTA Experience in automotive domain.- Knowledge of failure handling, safe state handling for min ASIL C.- Knowledge regarding product engineering processes (component development, SW-development, calibration) Requirements management Tools (DOORS, Polarion, PTC, IBM, etc.)- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, flexible, fast learner.- Excellent communication skills with professional and positive attitude Experience in working with International Teams/Inter-Cultural Exposure- Derivation of Technical Safety Requirements (TSR) based on confirmed Functional Safety Requirements (FSR), their superior Safety Goals (SG) and dedicated level of integrity (ASIL).- Allocation of safety-relevant requirements (TSR) to development domains, e.g. hardware, software, calibration.- Development of Functional (FSC) and Technical Safety Concepts (TSC)- FMEA, FTA
