Senior Accounting Specialist

Senior Accounting ProfessionalWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the month-end closing process, posting journal entries, and performing revenue reconciliation.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, and at least 3 years of experience in finance and accounting. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Execute the month-end closing process relating to revenue recognitionPost journal entries related to GL accountingPerform revenue reconciliation ERP v/s PortalCoordinate with multiple stakeholders for driving accurate revenue provisioningDrive projections for weekly forecastCirculate MIS and other reports to respective stakeholdersPrepare month-end schedulesPrepare OAR's basis variance analysisEnsure all accounts are reconciled and supportedAssist external/internal auditors with audit queriesCoordinate with support teams for any issues/queriesPrepare and maintain documented procedures and ensure complianceActively identify and participate in process improvementsDevelop Power BI reports for various day-to-day needsAd-hoc and special projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or AccountingAt least 3 years of experience in finance and accountingEnd-to-end accounting knowledgeProficiency in MS Office suiteGood analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal interpersonal skillsAbility to take ownership of workload and prioritize meeting deadlinesStrong ethics and ability to manage confidential dataWhy this role is exciting?This role offers the opportunity to work on high-priority projects, develop new skills, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
