As a Cloud Platform Expert, you will be part of a data platform team for a major insurance client.You will work with various stakeholders to design and develop a scalable EDP application platform that supports internal data teams. The platform will be built using microservices architecture to handle different workloads such as data marts, data warehouses, AI/ML, and big data processing.The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience in developing large-scale enterprise applications and possess a proactive attitude. He/She should be able to adapt to ambiguity and have superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing Python applications with object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, and parallel/multi-threaded programming. Experience with AWS technologies like AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge is highly desirable.A suitable candidate should have solid experience with AWS services like CloudFormation, S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM, etc. Knowledge of modern cloud-native data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus.Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills for client interaction, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
