Job Title:

Cloud / Technology Patent Specialist

Experience:

7-8 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage patent portfolios related to cloud technologies
• Draft and prosecute patent applications for cloud innovations
• Perform prior art searches and patentability assessments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify patentable inventions
• Advise on patent strategy and risk mitigation in cloud projects
• Represent the company in patent-related matters and negotiations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field

7-8 years of experience in patent law, focusing on cloud technologies

Registered patent attorney with the USPTO

Deep understanding of cloud architectures, migration strategies, and associated technologies

Strong analytical and communication skills

Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience in a technology company or IP law firm
• Familiarity with open-source licensing and compliance
