The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.Key Responsibilities- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Work with outside data sources and APIs.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3–6 years of proven experience in Android development.- Strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Android SDK.- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and APIs.- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.- Familiarity with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).- Knowledge of cloud integration and push notifications is a plus.Preferred Skills- Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation).- Exposure to Agile methodologies.- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
