We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Transport Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of telecom networks and the ability to design and implement IP/MPLS solutions.Job Description:The Technical Transport Subject Matter Expert will work closely with our Sales and Solution Architects to design and implement transport solutions for telecom customers. This includes collaborating on proposals, ensuring alignment with telco standards and customer expectations.Collaborate closely with Sales and Solution Architects to design IP/MPLS and Transport solutions for telecom customers.Prepare technical inputs, solution designs, and BOMs for proposals, ensuring alignment with telco standards and customer expectations.Participate in customer calls to explain architectures and answer technical queries, providing clear explanations of complex concepts.Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate design details and network requirements, guaranteeing seamless integration with existing infrastructure.Provide expert guidance to deployment teams during implementation and migration phases, ensuring services meet telco-grade performance and reliability standards.Review HLDs/LLDs to ensure solutions align with telco standards, network policies, and customer expectations, identifying areas for improvement.Assist with troubleshooting complex issues across IP/MPLS and transport layers during delivery, leveraging deep knowledge of routing protocols and transport technologies.Evaluate services to ensure they meet telco-grade performance, reliability, and SLA requirements, implementing necessary adjustments as needed.Required Skills:To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:Strong hands-on experience working in telecom or service provider networks, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS, including L2/L3 VPNs, Segment Routing, QoS, and Traffic Engineering, enabling effective network design and optimization.Expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP-TE, allowing for efficient network configuration and troubleshooting.Good understanding of Transport technologies like DWDM, OTN, Ethernet transport, facilitating seamless integration with existing infrastructure.Experience working with multi-vendor platforms such as Cisco ASR/ISR, Juniper MX/PTX, Nokia SR, Huawei NE, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.Preferred Certifications:Possession of the following certifications is highly desirable:CCNP/CCIE (SP), JNCIP/JNCIE, Nokia NRS II, MEF certifications, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and industry expertise.
