Full-Stack Developer(Ruby on Rails)Our ideal candidate is a skilled Full-Stack Developer with 6–9 years of experience, proficient in React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. They should be able to design and build scalable, user-focused features and maintain high-performance platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Development Lifecycle: Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.Code Design and Maintenance: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack.Framework Upgrades and Dependencies: Manage framework upgrades, dependencies, and overall application health.Database Management: Work effectively with data storage systems such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and Amazon S3.Bottleneck Identification and Resolution: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.Code Quality and Automation: Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.Testing: Write unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure code reliability.Sprint Planning and Communication: Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies, and communicate effectively within a distributed team using tools like Slack, Zoom, and JIRA.Essential QualificationsRuby on Rails Experience: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and idiomatic Ruby development.Frontend Development Skills: Strong experience with modern frontend development using React and TypeScript.Database Understanding: Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.Background Job Processing Tools: Hands-on experience with background job processing tools like Sidekiq.Development Tools: Familiarity with Bundler, Yarn, Rake, and Webpack.Object-Oriented Programming and RESTful APIs: Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and RESTful APIs.Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks: RSpec (backend) and Jest (frontend).Git and CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.Scalable Software Systems: Ability to design scalable, maintainable software systems.Nice to Have QualificationsScripting Language Experience: Experience with Python, PHP, or other scripting languages.Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code Principles: Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code principles.Dbt or Snowflake for Data Transformation and Warehousing: Exposure to dbt or Snowflake for data transformation and warehousing.AWS or Cloud Environments: Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments.Why Apply?Join our collaborative and fast-paced environment where you can grow your skills and expertise.
