Patent Illustrator PositionWe are seeking a skilled Patent Illustrator to contribute to our Intellectual Property team.The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing high-quality patent illustrations using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power Point, and Auto CAD, and have a solid understanding of US patent drafting requirements.Create detailed, precise patent illustrations using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power Point, and Auto CAD in accordance with USPTO guidelines.Collaborate with patent attorneys and inventors to understand the invention and produce accurate visual representations.Ensure all illustrations comply with jurisdiction specific patent laws (US, EP, IN, etc.), regulations, and formatting requirements.Review and revise illustrations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.Effectively communicate with team members, inventors, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and address feedback.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent illustration or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power Point, and Auto CAD.Familiarity with US patent drafting and illustration standards.Knowledge of USPTO requirements for patent drawings.EEO Statement: Hourglass provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by central, state, or local laws.
