Job Summary:
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives within the FMCG and beverage industry. This role requires a visionary leader to drive long-term growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning in Zambia and across Sub-Saharan Africa. The CSO will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and stakeholders to identify opportunities, optimize operations, and lead strategic projects that ensure sustained business success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement corporate strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market dynamics in the FMCG and beverage sector.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and new growth opportunities.
- Oversee the execution of business transformation initiatives, optimizing the product portfolio, distribution channels, and marketing strategies.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive the execution of strategic projects.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including investors, key partners, and government agencies, to support business objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to senior management on strategic priorities, business performance, and risk management.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic roles within the FMCG, beverage, or related industries.
- Proven track record in business growth, market expansion, and leading change initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to navigate the African business environment, with specific knowledge of Zambia’s market dynamics and regulatory landscape.

Education:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategy, or a related field (preferred)
